Can someone confirm whether it’s part no 2 on this parts-list link that has the frequently snapping springs on the T595 clutch?

Also, I can see that the clutch plates can be accessed via the clutch cover...can the bit with the springs be removed via the same cover, or does the case need splitting?

AND, is it acceptable to simply upgrade the one component...do the remaining clutch parts work with the later single-spring clutch.

    Many thanks for your help.

It's been a while since I had one apart but the cush drive springs which fail are part of the clutch basket item 2 in the diagram it can all be removed and reassembled through the clutch cover

That’s fantastic news, thank-you so much for commenting.
I’m changing the head gasket, but considering doing the clutch too, so it’s about whether I sort the head out with the engine in the frame or not.
I’ve got to check the engine numbers to see whether 4th and 6th gear are good but, assuming they are (the bike’s done 29,000), I can keep the bottom end in situ!

Superb, I’m going to pick this one up!
I took a quick look at the Sigma clutch...you’re right, a serious bit of kit. You clearly have no intentions of ever selling that machine.
Are the clutch components a little like valves and pistons, etc.? As in, do you know whether they need to be swapped as an entire worn-in-together unit, or could I simply switch the offending part and cannibalise the best of the remaining bits?
Thanks again. I haven’t forgotten the VIN, I will have the bike at my home address by the weekend

The Sigma came up, brand new, on E-Bay at a really good price so I posted a link on here to see if any of the racers/track day riders would be interested. No-one seemed that bothered so I snapped it up myself!
Re the clutch, I think I'd keep the main parts together as a matched set.
