"We are lucky that we can be heretics today without any danger of being burned at the stake. But unfortunately I am an old heretic. Old heretics do not cut much ice. When you hear an old heretic talking, you can always say, “Too bad he has lost his marbles”, and pass on. What the world needs is young heretics. I am hoping that one or two of the people who read this piece may fill that role."

our children should be reading this.

Yep I have read that bikes will not be included, but I don't trust those in power not to include them......

As usual,I don’t believe these political targets are realistic .
They’re simply appeasing the immediate clamour of the climate emergency lobby, who in my opinion, aren’t in possession of all the facts and information.

Not much activity in here since Covid :p

Here is an antidote to Greta... presented so even simpletons should be able to understand ;)

Also not specifically mentioned in this video is that climate alarmists always start their data from 1860 the end of the Mini Ice Age, when there had been an approximate 300 - 500 year cooling period, with a particularly cold period around 1850.

Yep, put a plastic bottle filled with water in the freezer...it expands when frozen ;) - But not all ice is sea ice, most of the ice in Antarctica is on land which if melted would then become sea.

Well if palm trees start growing in Whitley Bay I’m all for it.

This generally applies to Covid as well as climate change and several other issues this crumbling piece of round land floating in the middle of endless universe is having..
Funny how we trust the specialists when we need a kidney transplant or when boarding a plane or using a lift to get to level 120 but choose to question and disregard others, simply because we disagree or have a different opinion..

Yeah but when the guy on the internet knows your epidemiologist is actually a mathematician with a :poop: record of forecasting pandemics you go with real clinical scientists.

Oh yeah, my bullshit mate Neil who gave us:
    BSE
    Foot & Mouth
    SARS
    Etc.
He is utterly discredited but that’s where your 40k a day dead came from.

Oh and when caught with his paramour explained that because he’d had it it wasn’t a problem (clue: immunity!) also assumed zero immunity in his model.

Needless to say he also crunches numbers for the climate zealots at East Anglia Uni. Numbers.

You see, you really don’t always need to be a subject matter expert to smell :poop:

Sure, I'm not saying you blindly trust absolutely everything and everyone. Just like I can make my own assumptions on the temporary cooling trailer morgues in the car park of my small local hospital with fairly stable stream of bodies going in to them at the peak of the death rate I can also partially figure out that if billions of tons of fossil fuels is being burned long enough, it will do some harm to the place we live in (together with overpopulation and all the other issues that come with us).
Are you saying that most of the scientist around the world in relation to both covid and climate change are wrong because this one guy is shite at his job?

Nope. What I am saying is that when THE science gets politicised all other (real) science gets sidelined in terms of grants, publicity etc.
