I've put hagon nitros on my thruxton. I must really stop spending so much time choosing which polish to use & spend a bit of time fettling with the suspension, but I don know my sag from my rebound....now which polish should I use?
That's really generous of him. Many thanks for that. I'm seriously thinking of doing the front springs soon & then it could be game on.
Great stuff, I do enjoy tinckering to be honest the street twin handles really well so far but I'll wait and see what ohlins bring out for it, I've decided the bikes going to be a keeper so I'm going to invest in it a little
There was a gathering of scooters in Clacton at midday and probably migrated around 2ish, you seem very pleased with the money you have spent on your bike in the improvements, you will certainly be a bit more confident taking on them Thruxtons boys now.
Well he's brave or stupid he has thrown in the gauntlet lets see what happens now he is bound to be challenged.
This is what I will be doing tonight - fitting the rear Hugger which just arrived a minute ago. Perfect timing as the girlie is up in York for a few days so fettling is on the menu. .
Wheeled it out the shed ready to take it for its first service. Then got a phone call from the dealer saying my parts were not in yet. Wheeled it back into the shed. Re-booked for 27 April. Waste of a day off, now at home watching YouTube on the tv bored.
Sorry Peter I should've wrote 'extras'... when I ordered my bike I ordered some extras, some of which were fitted when I picked it up and some were to be fitted at first service (today). Edinburgh Triumph haven't a clue when my heated grips and blingy clamp thing will be in and ready to fit but they've hazard a guess at 3 weeks so I'll try again on the 27th. Hassle yes but worse things happen I suppose
