They've been around forever but I only got switched on to them a couple of years ago with the Rockford album. I think they're bigger in the States than the UK but an underrated band here IMO.
I've been to their hometown (Rockford Illinois) in 2011, and locals told me about a Cheap Trick Museum project. I don't know if that was made, but I would definitively visit that museum, and not only for Rick Nielsen's amazing guitars.
Yeah, that would be on the itinery for any road trips around that part of the States, for sure. Doesn't Rick trade in classic guitars, or am I thinking of someone else?
And R.I.P Neil Peart. Another of my heroes lost. I'm glad I got to see them even if it was only the once.
Absolutely. Two more heroes right there. I'm still trying to learn some of Geddy's more interesting bass lines.
