I recently starting riding a motorcycle this year at 55 years young. I had been on the fence for quite a while, but decided to get my motorcycle training done, then purchased my first bike, Kawasaki Ninja 650 and still have it. I became obsessed with looking at different bikes and training videos and really started to think about a second bike which I've now had for a week; 2020 Triumph Street Triple R. The engine sound is amazing and has lots of power and is very smooth. In California we are starting to get some rain a colder temps so I haven't ridden many miles yet, but look forward to some decent days to go out. I'm glad a forum like this exist for technical support and stories that make the experience that much more fun! Glad to meet you all.
Welcome from Kansas. I'm soon to be 61 yo and love my 19 street triple rs. 51 years of riding experience to help take this beast.
A great big welcome. Such beautiful machines. I especially love the street triple. Nice to hear the starting at 55 story. I plan to ride until I start falling off. While climbing on.
And then there was one . . . . Sold my Kawasaki this past weekend. I'm now fully committed to the Triumph Street Triple R. Let the fun begin!

Just installed the stock bug screen. I couldn’t find any instructions to install the screen. If anybody wants to know I’ll provide instructions on how I got it done.
I'm a bit late to your intro thread, Jeff, but welcome to the forum! Glad to have you join us and thanks for the great intro and photos of your beautiful new Triumph. Enjoy!!
