Regardless of the politics and the perceived threat ...or not i would have the vaccine simply because i already have cancer and mild COPD and the wife has asthma so anything that may possibly prevent us from getting or dying of covid I will take the risk...simple... i wonder how many of the nay sayers have thing like flue vaccine or other vaccines.?
Yes, I would provided the government or someone very important could assure me that they won’t be using it to track my location, record how often I masterbate or exercise mind control over me
Listened to a phone in on talk radio other day some comments were bloody scary, there’s quite a few who’s idea is compulsory vaccination and if you don’t comply you will be stopped from using transport,in addition basically put under lockdown these are serious suggestions, dodgy or what besides that I (rightly or wrongly) am due to fly to the canaries soon and had to get a covid test (all clear) now privately they would not accept an NHS test WTF ?,not only that it was to be sent via a biological qualified courier to enable to get the (fit to fly) certification, and that’s after paying a (discounted haha) fee £160 some folk are making lots of money out of this pandemic and it’s not your average member of society
The crazies also want to pass legislation to tackle the anti vaccination crowd, these people are classed as dangerous to society and should lose the right to free speech ,we are all entitled to choose and have our own opinion or at least that was the case not so sure now.
You are spot on mate we should all be able to choose . And there are are those that will have the vaccine and those that won't.
Whilst the right to choose is everyones right i can see where some are coming from ...consider this scenario Joe blog's and his mates choose not to have the vaccine and as a result get covid dont get ill and pass it onto you son daughter and your grandchildren and then their mates get it etc etc...just being devils advocate..
Yes there is a point in some ways but it’s a no win situation damned if you do damned if you don’t,but only imo it should still be a choice but it’s very tricky to say what’s right and what’s not.
Or Joe Bloggs being a kind chap living next door to your mum does her shopping for her every week. He doesn't have the vaccine, gets the virus, passes it on to your mum and she dies. I reckon you might then want to kill Joe. I'm certainly not advocating forced vaccination, just saying what would happen in some cases(probably).
But surely your son, daughter and your gandchildren will all be vacinated, so there will be no risk to them from Joe Blogs and his mates In a free society it should be free choice, and if you choose not to get vacinated then that is your personal risk... like riding a motorcycle. In fact you could argue that riding a motorcycle is worse than not being vacinated, the personal risks might be higher, and you can't vacinate other road users or pedestrians from motorcycle accidents. If you get vacinated then you are supposedly protected and you don't have to worry about anyone else infecting you. Those that choose not to get vacinated will develop natual immunity in time anyway. People seem to have lost reasonable perspective and common sense.
But surely your mum will be a vulnerable member of society, and therefore a priority for vacination way before Joe Bloggs, so she will be immune once vacinated and kind Joe Bloggs next door will be no threat whatsoever whilst doing your mums shopping for her. Please think people
If they are vaccinated, nothing to worry about, right? If those who want the vac get it, it shouldn’t bother them if those who don’t want it don’t get it.
If they can make you have a test to fly, is it not pretty likely that countries could make it mandatory that you have been vaccinated in order to enter, then all the anti vaccs will not be able to go on their holidaysthat’ll surely change a few minds?
Yes it’s called the Chinese solution coming soon to a State near you but you have to get there via Venezuela...... What happened to liberal democracy, freedom under the law, etc? I fully accept common sense ain’t that common. Just look at how hard Plod is working to alienate law abiding citizens.......
I can’t disagree with any of your post. I just said it was an interesting spin on the problem... right now I cannot take any of this serious.. as I have said it is all about personal choice..
