My dear old dad had a 105E Anglia, (without the Carlos Fandango wheels). We managed to squeeze a Cortina engine in to it after the original engine blocked developed a major crack and dumped oil and water all over the garage floor
What are you taking in your tea,?? because I want some, life is not slowing you down is it your action man on a mission
Thanks littleade, if all goes well I'll be on two wheels in time for summer so hopefully me & the missus can meet up with some of you before too long. I am a bit aprehensive about the Mod 2 bit but will do my best to nail it first time around and then I'll post some pics..
Fantastic car - my uncle had one in white back in the day - a big improvement on his Standard 10 in what appeared to be "pea soup" green!
Well littleade, I've penciled it in my diary but if I attend I'll probably be riding solo as the missus doesn't do tents or communial sleeping accomodation these days..
Well, despite taking quite a bit of time off recently to undertake RBL Parades for the Battle of Jutland & Somme 100 commemorations et alli I finally found some time to take my Mod 2 today which I passed !!!. My thanks to One Stop Motorcycle Training at Seven Kings.. Great guys and nice machines to ride.. Thanks also to everyone of this forum who provided moral support & encouragement.. I hope to meet up with some, if not all, of you in due course..
Took the missus out to our local for a meal & a glass or two. Nothing in the diary for today (Saturday) so may spend some time at the Triumph dealers just to see what they have to offer in the way of nice cruiser..
