The T120 is due to be officially launched in mid-April I believe.

Knowing I’d be abroad at that time, my dealer gave me a call yesterday to go see their first arrival for a look-over (NO test ride though) and so off I went & here’s some quick & dirty phone pics:

First impressions of the bike is really favourable: a real improvement in many areas to the current Bonnevilles and to my eyes oozes quality and attention to detail. It feels very different to the Street Twin when sitting on them both, more so than the specifications would suggest. The bike was absolutely as stock (the Street Twin had been ‘packed up’) so it was great to see it unaltered and as is, however there are a lot of accessories available for the bike...

Looking forward to having a test ride...

Does look nice. Front tyre looks like 70/80's Pirelli phantom!

It wasn’t in the showroom as being ‘on show’. As a favour, they took the bike into the showroom for me to have a look at it: it hadn’t been prepared at all (there were still protective stickers all over it) and the gaiters hadn’t been put in place.

Thanks for the offers of running it in for me, lads - but I’ll pass on your kindness. ;-)

That looks really nice, especially in the black / white.

Only thing I'm not wild on is the pea shooter exhausts. Swap them over, and would be a belter. Might go to Edinburgh for a test ride over Easter, can do my map swap over while I wait. :D

That looks a very nice bike indeed and well worth the wait, you must get a road test ASAP.

Thanks. Unusually for me, I've been dithering over which colour to choose and worse still was that I could have had another colour earlier!
2nd choice was the Black with the granite grey, looks lovely in the photos but I decided I wanted something a bit brighter. On the 'special colours' the gold line between the two colours on the tank is hand-painted and I'm in awe of how accurate and uniform it is: I can't draw a straight line to save my life...

EDIT: I’ve changed my mind! The dealer has offered me the showroom's black & white model and although the red/silver combo was my first choice this was my second - and there’s a good reason to change: I can have it immediately after the launch weekend!

Hi Ralphy good news and a bit different I personally like the black and white I hope after launch that bike is still in as new condition and then you will be getting on the road a bit earlier and you will not have to do any pictures as done already:)
