Bob1 - Thank you for posting a really good tip off about reasons to avoid claims management companies. I never realised the reason this slime want you to contact them before your insurance company is so they can get their snouts in the trough first. By doing so they can start they compo gravy train off and take a cut from everything they do “on your behalf”. It doesn’t take much to imagine how they load your claim (at your risk). They get a cut for recovery, storage, repair, medical fees, occupational health etc. and then anything they can screw in compo. I also bet that they never advise you to inform your insurance either because technically they should be informed. And believe me, even if you don’t make a claim your next year’s premium will take a hit as will any other policy where you are a named driver. You are now a significantly riskier road user. I found out the hard way that total disclosure costs you money.

My advice would be to avoid all accidents like the plague. Should be unlucky and to be in one, never, ever get a claims management company involved. Go straight to your insurer and deal with them direct.

The games over once you start apologising as "some viewers found it offensive". You can always find someone who will be offended about something. That can be real or perceived offence but we can't let it censor every aspect of life. Next time someone tells you they are offended just say "I don't care, I really don't".

Well I must have watched the clean version. The story is good, or should I say shocking? It’s nothing new from where I come from. You just need to be street wise when it’s going ‘through the system’
