Took charge of a Bonneville America today it's black and silver 20.plus miles nice clean condition was a bit ERM not sure with feet forward bit but after picking up from dealer and going through traffic and lots of traffic lights then about a 45 min ride yes it's good. Will get some pics on soon, that's 20 thousand it's a 03 reg good service history had chain and sprocket needs cush drive dealer said about two weeks ooo dear will have to ride it more.
Enjoy, takes a bit of getting used to. Done 1800 miles on mine since October (800 of those done last weeknd!) and only now can I say I am confident with the feet forward. Lots more comfy than a Gixxer for me, due to a knackered knee from playing Ice Hockey. What did you have before ?
When I picked Speedmaster up, on the ride back home at junctions etc. I kept putting my down in the mid position looking or mid mounted pegs!! I agree with Mr Orange, it does take a little while to get used to the feet forward riding position. BTW ………….. WE NEEDS PICTURES !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Agree with you, feet forward is a bit strange at first. I got my Speedmaster this time last year and kept feeling for the pegs at the mid-point. Once I got used to the position it felt oh so much better.
Nice looking in the books that came with bike found this in front of service manual picture not straight but you should get the idea
