What a shame, the chance for a historic 200th Podium is put out of reach, bloody COVID! https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/motorsport/54558844
That's a shame I'd have liked to see the 200th podium too but I can't help thinking he must feel like he's running up the down escalator at the moment, basically getting nowhere and his results sadly reflect this. I wish him a full and quick recovery.
At 41 his chances of that elusive 200th podium are getting slimmer, still a fantastic rider & if he fancies bulking up a bit I would like offer him the chance to ride as a ringer on the BBR Aprilia next year! I'd have to teach him how to drop the Italian accent & eat pies though!
That's a real shame. While he is not what he once was, he's been challenging for podiums this season, so it was a possibility. Man will always be a complete legend imho. DS
