Headed to Blwch in Brecon Beacons on Friday with 10 of my CBR 6ers forum. Had a cracking time. Stayed in The Star Bunkhouse, which I recommend highly. £49 for 2 nights sleep and all our brekkie and food which we ordered online. Not too shabby at all! The roads were incredible, especially our trip through crossways. I've attached a pic of our route on Saturday. Covered over 650 miles in three days. There was an array of bikes, a couple of VFRs, one 600 cbr rr, a few blades, a tracer, a Zx1000, a Sprint and my Bonnie. The Bonnie just about held her own, And there was plenty of spirited riding! (She doesn't like you moving about in the seat though mid corner like the cbr!!) At one point we were going over a mountain and the drop on the other side made my tummy turn over, had to back off a bit!! Bloody shattered now, will have to clean her next weekend!!!
So, I finished spraying , added the decals, fitted to the bike along with new trick rear light and tail tidy and fitted. Just need to work out why the new led number plate light isn't working maybe it's faulty as I connected to the original and got nothing
If a job is worth doing its worth doing well good job did led light come with or needs a resistor unit to drop voltage if so you have probably blown unit.
Yaya how did you manage to get the picture of the route you did?,i've just asked on another post how we could do this for showing our favourite runs also if it's possible to show another map of the uk along side it with the route boxed incase anyone is not familiar with the area. i tried to copy and paste a route i mapped out on google maps but there was no option to do this
Cheers Crispey,it looks easy enough i'll give it a go later.also i notice when you put up a link you highlight the "here" word and not the actual link, whats that secret!?
well it looked easy enough..tried pressing the prtscn button and nothing happened, did a bit of googling and if you have a g mail account you can go to my maps and the extra features you get looks good.. but still coudn't save the map, spent about an hour fannying about and now i'm more confused than ever..I HATE COMPUTERS!!!!
So, last week I extended my horn connectors ( last owner soldered heated grips-that didn't work really- and so when I removed that, it left the wires short), made up two extensions and put them in. Then, replaced indicator with second hand one cos mine was scuffed. Went up to-day and horn ,brake light, and indicator, fuse blown. Cost me two fuses, and time, as I swapped out indicator wiring with old one , then I think I found the problem. Please advise, if theoretically speaking,( would not actually be that stupid, or distracted by work mate stopping by for cuppa ) I left bare connectors in the middle of the extension when they touch.... it would cost me a fuse, Right? Built a ground anchor from a huge shackle I got at a car boot sale for a pound, screwed it to the ground then concreted it all to the back wall.
Lol! What could have been a lovely poodle home in the sun through London turned bad pretty quick when I hit a speed bump at a mere 5 mph and ......
