Just watched Terminator Dark Fate - loads of action which covers up a slightly weak story line, try not to think too much about the time travel paradox, a rollicking good romp and Arnie saves the day great fun film thoroughly enjoyed it for a boring Saturday night

 

Mr. Sandi and I just finished the first season (after only three evenings) of Vikings. As you might guess from the pace at which we devoured the first season, we're really hooked, er, really enjoying it.

 

Watched Zodiac last night on iplayer. If you like a good long film, give it a watch.

 

Prisoners on Netflix. Hugh Jackman and Jake Gylenhall. Two young girls go missing, one of them being the daughter of Jackman, who, together with the father of the other girl, hold the “suspect” prisoner and try to beat a confession out of him to save the girls’ lives. Gylenhall is the detective. Has a twist at the end.
Also The Circle. Tom Hanks and Emma Watson. Kind of like Facebook, twitsagram, and 1984 all rolled into one. It’s social media on steroids, everyone knows everything about everyone else, instantly as it happens.

 

Attempted to watch The Aviator as recommended by OldNick, but it is unavailable to me right now. We watched Project Power with Jamie Foxx -it sucked arse.

After nine glorious years of marriage, I was finally hit with the dreaded request that I knew would come some dreaded, fateful day . . . "will you watch The Notebook with me?" After the initial quick prayer, "thank God she didn't say, 'Like Water for Chocolate', after the inward cringe and fighting off the bile that immediately began to rise in my throat, I just grinned and said, "sure, love. Anything for you". And so it was I spent my Friday evening watching "The Notebook".

 

Currently hooked on Netflix series Marcella. Just finished season-2 and holy crap its like Prime Suspect (starring Helen Mirren) on steroids.

I assume that you watched the live version of Death Note and not the anime series.
If it's just the first live film you've seen there are 2 more, part 2 Death Note The Last Name, and part 3 Death Note L Change the World.

Ont recommendation o mi son, started watchin White Gold, on Netflix. It's a comedy about double glazing salesmen int 80's. Ont 2nd season now. It makes me laugh like this....

 

On recommendation we started to watch Marcella yesterday - binged 3 episodes straight away!
