First off, looking at exhausts found two that are used, good nick and cheap, first one is a pipe werx gp colour titanium and the other is an A16 gp exhaust. Now, I know these both aren’t road legal but are they mega loud with baffles in? Or do I just bite the bullet and get a new sp engineering sc-1 which is legal and looks pretty sweet!

also, Iam in the hunt for a grab handle kit for the bike (2016 model) do these still mount ok with a tail tidy? (Going for the Evotech one)

also if anyone is selling or knows of, let me know!

    cheers guys!

Well if you plan on coming my way down to Moffat get a legal one because the antisocial mob have lost droves of friends in recent months.

Much as I hate sounding like a killjoy, an illegal pipe will probably give your insurance company the heebie-jeebies if you need to make a claim.

As as been discussed in other threads, many insurance providers won't insure bikes with performance modifications (particularly exhausts), and worse if you have an illegal exhaust then your insurance will be invalid which could expose you to serious prosecution if you were involved in an accident.

Brands like GPR, HP Corse, Zard, etc do homologated exhausts.

So that means, pretty much same as a standard exhaust? Iam just after something to make it sound a little more meaty without bursting my wallet too badly. And no wanting a 450mm long can lol

Modern high performance bikes have very good exhaust systems from the factory. So more of a fashion statement and louder higher pitched sounds. Low pitched meaty sound probably identical because low frequency attenuation take one hell of a big heavy can.
