    :grinning:Happy days :grinning:
Just been in the garage and unstrapped the front brake lever :)
Very pleased to report that the lever feels just as it should
Cold and drizzly here today and my shoulders are playing up so I’m just gonna laze about in front of the TV watching the three moto races and some football
Will also eat far too much comfort food :yum
    Yep that’s a good idea :p

I managed to fit a blanking connector to the alarm once I had found it the thing was driving me crazy, as I do not leave my bike out of sight and use a alarmed disc lock I got rid of the thing.
For those that may need to know on the 865 America and Speedmaster it is under the tank.

Like an old man I fell asleep Friday afternoon  So I fitted the indicators today, I had to make (just drilling and tapping) a spacer for the rear pair to get them to clear the grab rail and number plate.

Greetings folks - sold my Harley and bought a 2003 Triumph America. I grew up riding Hondas and loved the twin - Triumph does a very fine job with it. Loving the new bike.

Please don't make me read this whole thread to find popular mods. What was the BEST thing you did to your Triumph that might apply to me (6'1", 70 yr old American)?

One question for the group - how do I go about converting from floorboards to footpegs?

Hi and welcome, that's a very nice bike you have nice colour too, you could try a breakers yard stateside or even e-bay for the pegs, we have places like this in the UK http://www.triumphhinckleyparts.co.uk/partsList.php?ModelID=19
    hope you can get sorted

Rode off to a bike meet at 9:00 am in Beaumont KS, about 60 miles away. Never been to one so I didn't know what to expect. Probably about 300 bikes there 90% HD, outside liquor bar was doing good business 10:00 am. Walked around looked at bikes and the HD riders costumes. Beaumont Hotel/restaurant is a fly in destination, so three Cessna's came taxiing down main street while is was there. Otherwise boring.

Been out thinking MOT due in November so better check the tyres..... the front is as Jamie Whitham would describe
"..eeehhhrr it'll all end in tears..."
it might be legal, maybe by a fag paper or cat's whisker - just booked in to get it replaced tomorrow
