Couple of hours out in the Spring sunshine, round out into Shropshire, Long Mynnd, Church Stretton, longest ride since I bought it.
To say she's pleased is an understatement, riding round with a silly grin on all the time. A pleasant ride to Warwick to have lunch with my Aunt followed by a quick blat down the M40.
Had a new set of Anakee 3's fitted today to the Explorer at Demon Tweeks in Wrexham followed by a run over Horseshoe a Pass on the way home to scrub them in. They have offer on in March for free fitting so £168.99 for a pair is a good price. Teejay
thanks Steve for the tip. unfortunately the battery won't be able to handle starting it a few times. it's going in on wednesday for the battery swap and they'll reset the eml for me.
Well nice to hear you are back on bike again and just in time for summer, but sounds you have expensive times ahead wish you luck in finding something a bit more nimble
Crispey wants to know if you have money for your house yet as he cannot wait for your lottery win to come up
Cheers Peter, went for a ride down to Poole Quay yesterday to buy my armband for the coming bike nights, very pleasant and about 20 or so other bikes there too. I'm back to the dealer for bikes annual service Thursday so I may give the Street Twin another go if available. I think I may hang on to the Speedmaster for as long as I can - it's such a good ride although I have done coming up to 25k on the old girl. Unless of course they make me a really good px offer, they are offering deals on all of their 865cc model stock currently but have sold all of their initial Street Twin batch.
No mate, it's just the buying procedure over here takes about 3 months, sometimes a bit longer if you've got multiple sellers (inherited property). I'm confident it'll happen, it's just that the weather here is beautiful and scheduled to remain like that for a week and I would normally be out every day.
The lack of a bike would do it Pete. No funds to buy a bike until sale goes through as I've used all my capitol to buy the new house. I thought I'd already explained this?
