I was going to post an update Bug, because I realised that the Booster Plug has been doing its job so stealthily, that I'd forgotten that it's there.

I'm coming up to my first service next week and the bike is feeling so strong and responsive - absolutely no stalling, no hesitation, much stronger pick-up and none of the weird throttle surging when it's cold. On the narrow Essex lanes, I've taken to staying in fourth on some fairly tight bends and as long as it doesn't drop below 2,000 to 2,500 rpm, it hauls its way round.

    Very impressed

Yep...here I am - and when you get your new toy, we should catch up again somewhere and check out each other's (bikes) :)

    High Beach again
Being delivered next Friday, be painfully standard as no Evotech tailtidys or AR cans available for a while, coming with Ergo seat and cowl to start with though
Want a black/orange V3 Mini, which can did you have?

It is painful, when none of the parts that you've collected are transferable...and you have to start again. Initial availability for new parts is frustrating too - but at least you'll have longer to put cash aside for them ;)

My AR was a GP3 (GP1 Titanium Can + GP1R Black Ceramic Tip). I really like the black/orange look (on a KTM) - especially the high exit full system (add it to the mortgage o_O).

Let me know when you're ready for High Beech :grinning:

Got out on it for first time, but got rained on a bit.
Got all it need doing, till I’ve got the money to order an AR end can.

You've ruled out the full system then (it's only £2,699. Plus VAT.) :grinning:

I'm perplexed by the low plus optional high can - I guess they had to find a way of bumping the price up :yum

All I have left of my AR is a black hoody :worried:

Just not worth it, I think you can remove the top can on that system if you only want to run single.

Getting back to Scrambler things. Mrs T bought me a headlamp surround for my birthday and I really love it. Slightly fiddly to fit but it's on and looking great :grinning:

Lockdown fever continues with my compulsion to do something with my bike, resulting in this:

    A Denali Soundbomb Mini horn.

OK, it's not exactly a thrilling modification, but it's WAY louder than the old squeeker and it attaches directly to the existing fittings (no external compressor). I used a spare Evotech numberplate bracket to lift it clear of the header pipe and it tucks away relatively neatly. Hopefully it won't melt in that position : unamused:

Just need to get out there and hoot some people :D
