Very nice mate. Go steady with that beast, they were known as the widow makers back in the day ........
Thanks Wessa (Steve), had a great ride out, lovely scenery and roads, enjoyed the company and thanks again for the lunch treat, my treat next time.
Took the Bonneville out for a run and stopped in at Jacks Hill Cafe... Oops! - This should have been in the "What have you been doing with your Triumph" thread
No food for me, just coffee. Yes, there were loads of bikes out, I passed several groups whilst out as well
Out on the Tuono today. With this weather it would've been rude not to. Out on the Thruxton tomorrow hopefully.
Aaack! This is what I was doing with my non-Triumph non-motorcycle Mustang today. I had hopped in my car to run errands and saw that my tire pressure readings were 32, 32, 32, (perfect) and.....21. Since I'd only gone about 1/2 mile, I turned around and put some air in the tire before driving straight to the Ford dealership. Fortunately it was repairable and my bill was $0!! So I wound up only being out for the wait time and mild inconvenience of having it repaired. I was very grateful to not have to replace that tire as I suspect it's very expensive. Sure I'll have to replace one of them--all of them actually-- someday but I'm glad someday wasn't today!!
It varies from state to state. Here in NM they only inspect the VIN number. In Texas they do an inspection, but it's just kind of a give us twenty bucks and you're on your way. They check parking brake, lights, and tires but aren't too fussy about it. I've never lived in Kalifornia, but I hear they are pretty picky when it comes to emissions.
