Have paid a returnable deposit on this GSX1250FA Going to have a look on Thursday 15 plate 13139 mls on it BLACK the best colour
You need to get down to the local pool to clear your head and turn in a dozen lengths of butterfly to get your shoulders re-tweaked!
Had a first generation bandit 1200 Absolutely brilliant bike until I crashed it on the west coast of Jockistan
Yeah it’s got ABS but that’s it Back to basics for the unemployed Don’t care though cos it’s rally ready
I had the 650 version of that Dilli - very capable and sure footed, very smooth and very easy to live with. Much nicer fairing than the Bandit it is based on too.
My 1250 was a fantastic bike, I had it just short of five years. Really eats up the miles on the motorway and not to shabby everywhere else either. I put a Fuel "silencer" on mine which shed a few tons and improved the sound somewhat. One tip, lubricate the coils. The coils can rust a bit and as they are rubber sheathed they expand against the alloy head and can be a right bastard to get out. I broke one and at £125 each it's a costly do. Other than that, I also went to a suspension set up engineer who set the bike up to my weight for £40 and that was the best £40 i've ever spent. Hope you enjoy it once you get your limbs sorted.
Champion I was hoping that you’d chip in with a good report as I remember yours from the jockistan trip Cheers mate
I’ve actually got a carbon fibre Quill end can and a Vance&Hines end can They’re both outside in my scrap pile Can’t remember if they’re off my old Fireblade or my old Bandit Will dig them out and and have a look if I get the bike (Probably will )
Wow Graham that is a change of direction. As has been said It is a bullet proof bike that will serve you very well. Good to see you back on two wheels mate..
