Good. Sounds like you were just trying to let it heal by itself. A good ultrasound technician can tell you where tears are and of course a CT scan can see more. At the very least, physical therapy can help you get all of the muscles coordinated, as each one keeps the joint in alignment. The socket for the top of the humerus is very shallow. Try PT before surgery, always.

Just caught up on your physio et al. Sounds like quite a lot of therapy needed. Hopefully its the first steps in the right direction. And at least you won’t injure it anymore at work?

At least it seems to be fixable, Dilli. That's good news. As I said (somewhere) previously, a steroid injection has a good chance of sorting a frozen shoulder which is bloody painful - I know this!
Hope the treatment works sooner rather than later.

Just noticed this Dilli, sh!t news , been in a similar situation with jobs and arthritic Joints , had a few opps to put thing right, all bearable now.
Chin up mate it will sort its self out eventually.

At least you know or are starting to know what's what, Dilli. And with no pesky job to take up your time you will have time to mend and to do your PT. There's always a silver lining in there somewhere even if you have to use a binoculars to locate it sometimes.
