As per first post, here's the list with me added. Any thoughts on when to meet for brekkie? Got to factor in the liason and work out what time to leave.

The routes are out there. Breakfast in Settle, the only thing outstanding is time. I will be in Settle at the cafe around 10:00 to 10:30h unless somebody has an alternative time.

 

10am in Settle works for me.

 

I'm easy on timing so if later works better for some people that's ok. Same with the route. It's all new roads for me pretty much.

Sorry to hear about your family trouble. I hope you'll be able to make the ride but life gets in the way at times and you have to make the right choices.

 

Sorry to hear about your mum-in-law mate. For me I’m sure that we can all hang around until you guys arrive....

 

Here is hoping.., weather is no better here at the moment.

 

Pissing down at the moment. Fingers crossed, though. A week is a long time in metetreo..meterol...weather predicting.

 

If the weather is bad, well not to bad I might still make the ride if anybody else is up for it?

 

If it’s wet but there’s a light at the end of the tunnel ie it might change for the better then I’ll be still on for it.

Well it’s the day before and it’s BOUNCING........

 

After yesterday’s torrents we did pretty well with the weather, though @Tigcraft and I did get a soaking after leaving Skipton. All part of the fun.
The Dales are truly beautiful and anyone with a bike on English soil should definitely make they way past the Buttertubs at some point.

Good to meet another couple of forum members for the first time, and seeing a couple more I already knew.

I’ll organise a whip-round for a new battery for that BMW later, Eric.

 

And thanks to the forum software for arbitrarily rotating my pictures.

 

Yep another great forum meet and ride. Mind my trip north on the M6 was a very, very wet one. Pleased it got out almost fine for the rest of the day. Also a first for me, I never took a single photo, so I guess it never happened
