Shipping Containers?

Shipped my household to Australia and then 7 years later back same way. Problems with condensation both ways due to temperature changes over time.
If there is no moisture in when it is closed you should be OK, but it depends on the climate in Carson.

 

I work in the container industry and shipping containers get used for all the things you describe & more, get a vented one if you can, old refrigerated boxes are insulated but generally more expensive, they also have slated metal floors to make them easier to steam clean after use.
