Thats another one I really enjoyed. Eastwood gets better with age.

It will be a truly sad day when Clint passes away.

American history x is one view into racial tensions in America. Very good acting and direction in my opinion... worth a couple of hours of anyone’s time

I saw it when it first came out, but I need to watch it again to refresh my memory of it. I do remember the "curbing", though.o_O

We watched A Simple Favor. It was way different than I thought it would be based on the trailer I watched. It was an excellent film -funny and suspenseful with plot twists.

Watched the whole series over the last month or so - truly gripping and makes you think... I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Watched The Highwaymen. Kevin & Woody will do well if they stop there.

IMHO The Mule was just not Clint.

We just finished watching all available seasons of Lucifer. Fairly entertaining, enough to keep us engaged through several seasons.

But wow, we started on a new series that came highly recommended from a friend--Yellowstone. If others on this thread recommended it, I'm sorry I missed that. We've only watched the first episode but it was terrific. One of the creators is Taylor Sheridan whose movies are on our favorites list: Hell or High Water, Wind River, and Sicario.

Managed to watch a couple of films this week that I’d been wanting to see:
Revenant - great story very atmospheric of late 18th C Canada / North America superbly acted
Only problem was Leonardo di Caprios characters seeming indestructibility was a little far fetched:)

Second film was The Joker - I was really looking forward to this one I quite like the dark nature of these Batman films
Thoroughly enjoyed watching the Jokers character develop and fall into evilness
Then comes the Garry Glitter track - ruined it for me:mad:

I liked this film but agree on the indestructability aspect, but still a very good film.

I've never been a fan of De Caprio, but the movie Gangs of New York was very good.

Like you @JtC I never used to like him but recently saw the Aviator, Blood Diamonds, and Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, and I’ve warmed to him quite a lot, all those characters are quite different and the acting makes the character and plot believable - he’s churning out some good stuff
