Very nice. I'd pay a lot to spend a couple of weeks touring GB on a Bonnie. Well, any bike for that matter.

After yesterdays inner-tube problems I got a distinct sinking feeling when I checked tyre pressure today and found it down 25%, 'fortunately' it seems pressure gauge went faulty over night, as foot pump, electric pump and pencil gauge all agreed (sorta) that pressure was OK. So that's the second Tyre Tek gauge that's gone faulty after about 6 months, and despite all the good reviews I'm obviously not buying a 3rd.

Anyway, for today I took foot pump and pencil gauge with me on a countryside jaunt with Mrs Mouse for a picnic. Tyres were fine, pressure and temperature wise, and weather better than forecast, so had a lovely time and picnic at Burrough Hill...

Strange you should say that Duck

Here is the other part of the original picture. I didn't notice the Devil Wench waving on the right of the picture. She came out to say that she liked the bike then invited me in for a (ahem) "cup of tea"
I wont lie....I was a little bit tempted and would have in my younger days but immortality has long since deserted me and my sensible head said to decline and ride on (on the bike ;))
Watching "Misery" the other week may not have helped either...

Still waiting on the order from Norman Hyde. Set of "peashooter" silencers ordered four weeks ago now. Below is the stock image from the website. I have been exchanging emails and they blame COVID. They say the classic toga is even longer wait. I wonder how outfits like this can survive when they can't deliver?

    An alternative is feked.com

    Peashooters: https://www.feked.com/hinckley-triumph-bonneville-peashooter-silencers-stainless-steel.html

    Vickers (classic style): https://www.feked.com/hinckley-triumph-bonneville-premium-vickers-silencers-complete-kit.html

I have the Vickers short barrel silencers and I think they look and sound great, they certainly improve running.

Think I passed that when I was out and about yesterday. Caught my eye because of the paint job (my 'Modern Classic' is a copy by the looks of it).

Not doing anything with my Triumph today, waaay too hot and sunny, but did end up doing a bit of a marathon ride around the Peak District yesterday; set off at 8:00 got back 18:30 and 8 hours in the saddle according to satnav. Weather was rather cloudy and I ended up chasing the promised sunny intervals. At one point going over snake pass and spotting blue skies south, Hope valley way, so I went via Glossop and Chapel-en-le-Frith to get there only to find it a bit cloudy and that the blue bits were north, over snake pass way. Doh! Anyway, proper sun came mid afternoon which I why ended up being out so long.

A couple of photo's from Edale valley...

No date yet. I am a bit locked in, as PayPal did the transaction and I will not be refunded their fees and exchange rate difference. Bought at 1.23 rate, but now Sterling is going for almost 1.30. :(
I looked at Feked before choosing Hyde. Oh well.
