Not to continue the hijacking of the thread, I am a Christian but can’t speak for anyone else. I don’t beat people over the head with it.

As a former jet mech, one of those saved my bacon many times.

So you dropped things as well, as long as they miss the engines

Oscilloscope. Old Tektronix valve job. It's just the right height when standing on to reach the fluorescent tubes in the shed.

    Fuck off you nosy cunt
Here's a tool you don't see too often. I got it when I was a 'prent, off a guy who was retiring, he bought it off the guy he was apprenticed to...... A Stanley 113 compass plane, dated around 1903_1906...Used to use this to plane the knees in the frames of fishing boats, when replacing anything with a curve, internal or external. I still use it nowadays, but not on trawlers any more!

    Straight.... And...

    Curved.

It will also curve the other way. Its still sharp enough to shave with too.

I was working on a farm in 1985 before college and we built a grain drier so I was issued with a brand new 13mm spanner.
I have built a serious tool kit since then but the 'King Dick' 13mm is my favourite tool. We have been through a lot together.
