Just don't take it to a Triumph dealer to service unless you feel you must, then be prepared to pay a very big premium for the privilege. Most independents are about half the price if you can find a trusted one.

I've run loads of Harley's in my time.
None of them have been a patch on the Thunderbirds...in terms of comfort, performance and handling.
    Literally streets ahead
    I'd never go back.

Well it looks like I have 2 in the running one is a 12 plate 15000miles the other a 9 plate 8500 miles both around same price the latter is in Brighton which I will have to purchase unseen but comes with a host of parts included, hate it when I have to choose .

Personally I would go for the newer one and/or (providing it looked and rode well of course) one that I had seen myself. Can I ask what is drawing you to the one in Brighton.

And not only is the local one newer...it's 9 k away from an expensive service...the one in Brighton is an early model...watch for coolant leaks and dodgy rear wheel bearing......and it's only 4 k away from the service
Nothing wrong with early stuff...mine is 010... But I'd take the local later bike.

Thanks all for the input i have to agree that the newer model looks a better bet as it is a while off its next major service and I can view it and the guy is a forum member

To be fair, if you reread the two adverts it looks like the newer one also comes with similar spare accessories so if that's your only reason then go newer.

As said newer all the way, even though I raised the other choice having read over Adrian's sale again it was refreshing to see what a great buy it was and one I would say is a no brainer.
    Good luck
