i love it Peter..not riden it yet though!, infact i went to start it up for the first time yesterday and it turns out the battery is dead, i put it on the trickle charger overnight but no joy the battery must be knackered, phoned the dealer up this morning and they are going to send me a new one. the bike is only 2 years old i would have thought the battery would have lasted longer than that..i usually get about 7 years from one..i always keep the trickle charger on so that maybe makes a differance

DD its all down to bad battery maintenance when batteries run so low and left in this state it kills them, well DD enjoy and break yourself slowly into it or it might bite you back.

DD That reminds me about getting a module for my headlight to prevent extra starting load on my battery.

It Looks great DD, shame about the weather and battery, what a bummer, but think how it would be if it were beautiful sunshine!! Speedy black but don't the red trims make it slower?

yeah i have 2 bikes and usually do about 5k a year on each, so i was lucky to get a low milage one. col-c on this forum posted about a dealer selling some arrow exhausts for half price so i got them to send them to the dealer i was buying the bike from and they fitted them F.O.C. I did ask them first if they could match the price if i bought the exhausts from them but they were still going to be £300 more

If headlamp comes on with ignition and you have no switch for switching headlamp off its best to have one these headlamp modules that crispey has shares in as headlamp and starter load together puts a bit of a strain on the old or new battery.
