Panniers/racks Fitting

Total Triumph are doing deals on Bonneville Pannier kits for the watercooled models

There is mention on one review that they were modified to fit an older bike ie EFI Air cooled
Anyone know if that will work on a 2012 SE ? I assume the panniers will be the same, but the frames may differ .......

Could the leather bits be cable tied to the frame to achieve the desired result?

it’s a good price and may be worth a bit of modding.....

 

Thanks again I think though all I’ll need them for is the odd overnight with the Mrs....and I’ve had a rummage in the garage and found a custom made rack extender I had on my GS... I reckon a touratech 30L waterproof bag on that will do what I need

just need to make up some fixings to hold the rack extender on.... you won’t see the GS on it when there is a bag covering it...and I’d only fit it when I need to....
