I had a flat battery and attempted to jump the bike fromefrom my van. Stupidly I crossed the negative and positive and now I get no power when I turn the key.
I have visually checked the fuses under the seat and all look ok.

Any ideas as to what may be damaged and how I should troubleshoot the problem please?

    Many thanks
    Steve

Have yo checked the main fuse 30A I think, it's separate from the fuse box
on the side under one of the side panels, sorry can't remember exactly where!

Main 30 amp fuse used to be underneath the battery on earlier tigers. Might be worth a look there.

someone else did this recently and yes, it was the main fuse BUT also the starter relay was fried too (he found out after he got power sorted)
Might be that in addition to the fuse so don't be surprised if thats gone also.

Thanks Joe and fellow inmates of the asylum. Was a great help and got the bike out for a spin last night.
Have had the bike since May which is my first roadbike and absolutely love it.
So far have replaced the rear wheel bearings which had pretty much disintegrated after 16000 miles. Doing the front next weekend then headset bearings. I'd like to know the bike is healthy.

    Really enjoying it so far.

    Thanks Steve
