Hi Guys and Gals , Happy to be here recently purchased a new Bonne T100 from a Triumph dealer. The Bike was never registered, Therefore even being a 2017 model it came with a new factory warranty. I've had it about a month now and the more familiar I become with it the more I love it. I've already put around 1500 miles on it. Quick question want is the service interval for oil changes in my new toy ?
Hi John and welcome to the forum the initial running in oil change is 500 miles, then every year or 10k whatever comes first. Many people do a midservice oil change at 5k miles
John Stocum Welcome to the family. Great bike you acquired there. I personally do my oil every year irrespective of miles. It just keeps me happy. Do hit the upload a file button bottom right corner and show the inmates your new steed. And enjoy. Regards & Ride Safe Joe.
Hi Guys Thank you for the welcome to the forum I'm from Central New York. I have been a Triumph admirer since I was a very young lad and was overjoyed to purchase the same bike ( Bonneville )I admired as a youngster. Mine of course with all the new fangled tech.
Good morning John and welcome aboard. I lucked out many years ago and found a leftover bike at a local dealer myself. She turned out to be my favorite , of all the bikes I have owned. A 1981 GS850G model. I put many miles on her before we parted. Enjoy your good deal and always ride safe!
hello i cant figuer out how to open a new thread, so here i am using this thread as i have the same model. quick questio regarding chain setting: i noticed when bike in neutral position, the top chain in the middle kind of sitting on a piece of plastic on the arm, it isnt very tight against the surface, but i want to know if thats normal or would it affect any performance or fuel economy. This section im referring to is the area where you would check for the chain slack, if you move up to the top chain you can see the piece of plastic in the middle of the arm. Thanks in advance.
