Hi guys ! Just bought myself a triumph tiger 800. Im a confident rider although only had my license comeing up 2 year. Had an sv650s 2004 before this. Cant wait for the new bike season to kick in. Any thoughts on the tiger 800 from what ive read its a cracking all round bike and will even go just as good where the xc will. Thanks guys.
Hi Steve and welcome into the Triumph forum. "Any thoughts on the tiger 800 from what ive read its a cracking all round bike and will even go just as good where the xc will." - not sure what you mean here - if you're talking about off-road then both bikes will do light off-roading with the right tyres, no problem.
Hi Steven, welcome in, I bought myself a tiger 800 a couple of months ago, love it, very comfortable, torquey and smooth round the corners. Very important you keep the tyre pressure right as any drop will bugger up the handling!
Hi Steve welcome, wish sometimes this forum banned new bikes are you the type to make us jealous, i think so we will have pictures next just to finish us off you lucky person look forward to comments about what pleasure you get from your new toy enjoy
All picked up awful weather but all washed and sparkling. Unreal 1st experience on the bike very torqey. In love with it just need some good weather now
Don't sell the Bonneville you will regret it, it will be like selling part of the family and of course you always have the use of crispey the Tiger bike
You have bolted it to the floor, no trust in the world today , you look very like the cat that got the cream
Welcome to the forum and congratulations on the Tiger. My previous machine was a Tiger 800 XC, I made a mistake buying the XC and not the road biased machine you have. It is a great bike but I sadly could not get on with the higher speed handling in the corners with the 21 inch front wheel of the XC. It's a great engine and compared to an SV it will seem like a flying machine. You can do big miles in comfort on the Tiger and I took mine around Europe in 2014, here is a clip
Lovely pics Steven, we've all had that look in our lives for either women or bikes, not much else I like the beak, want to get one for mine. As for the chain, park your bike closer to the anchor and get another couple of turns round the wheel. Makes it harder for the twats!
Thanks crispey for your comment im gonna get a anchor to fit on the wall and attach the chain to the frame to give it more security and my main garage door has a garage deffender on the front at the bike has an imobilsier fitted. Nout else really i can do wish you didint live in a world where it is full of scumbags who take whats not theres.
I would not allow my wife to loan my bike defo no forgiveness from my side, does your wife loan your bike without permission ??
