That's a gas pipe & shouldn't need lagging, unless it get so cold me gas turns to liquid (always a possibility!) & the 'elastic band' is one of those rubber charity things people wear on their wrists. It's for the Air Ambulance, I went to some bikers fund raising do in Burton in aid of the Air Ambulance, & figured I'd better buy something not just stand around drinking beer, so I bought that, & not wanting to walk round with an elastic band round me wrist, stuck it on the cylinder. Maybe not particularly stylish, but makes me look like a philanthropist.
So nice to see me get a break for once..... Mirror looks good Workshy.... I'd paint the door as well if I were you, Bit dull in the man cave dude!!
Do you actually use your bike???? those pipes look new... and as for the shine...... DAM where's me shades...
Don't you bloody start! The bit of the door that the public see is painted (black) thus giving the impression to the world at large that I actually give a toss. I've got far better things to waste me money on than paint for the inside of the garage. & much better things to waste time on than painting it.
Stuck me head out the door this morning,' hmmm not too bad, few clouds, quite warm, right get the bike out'. By the time I'd got me gear on & rolled the bike out the garage, the black clouds were gathering, as I sat on the bike the first drops of rain were hitting the tank, by the time I got to the top of the street it was TORRENTIAL!!! I couldn't have been wetter if I'd stood under the shower. So back home, console myself with a ride over to Pidcocks & see if I can waste a bit more money, unfortunately not. But, I did get some snaps of some great looking bikes. I really like that blue T100.
Thanks Chrispy, in fairness I must give a nod to PIG, who gave me the heads up on these after he found them on one of his ebay chrome searches. Cheers PIG.:upyeah:
No problem, i only gave you the heads up because i had already bought a set off there the previous month so didnt need them
Fitting 3M self adhesive chrome detail piping to the fuel tank & rear fender plus removing the pillion seat, backrest & saddle bags.... View attachment 907 View attachment 906
Also fitted a stem nut clock so i can calculate my 0-30mph times.... View attachment 908 View attachment 909 Cant work out the 0-60mph times as (a) i dont ride that fast  and (b) it would need a calendar & there is nowhere to mount it
Those clocks (Timepieces) look nice, but I've got one in my odometer/twin trips etc. so no need.:frown:
Well if it only went up to an optimistic 60 then it would be half the size & miserable old bastards like me wouldnt be able to read it would i ?
