Just had a good look through. Love a ride out and meet up, but I'm afraid this is the weekend I get married...have a great one guys!!
Sounds good , I'm from central Manchester , and a newbie to triumph. Used to meet with the TRX crew always a hoot Is it a bring your biker wife affair ?
Hi James if you would like to bring your wife with you to the Grand Meet-up, you will both be made very welcome indeed. If you decide to come, would you please put your details on the list - the latest version of which appear in post number 408. Cheers Dave
I've not been on the forum so much since I moved K side but looking at your meet up and it would be nice to perhaps take a ride up and meet some of you guys as I only live about an hour from your meet. Unfortunately I am working during the week when you there but could possibly ride over one evening and say hi (Even on a Kawasaki). I've camped at the Royal Oak Hurdlow and the meals there are fantactic. There are loads of interesting rides in the area and I highly recommend calling in at the Wetton Mill tea rooms for a brew and cake and also the Grindleford Railway cafe, Tor Cafe at Cromford or Costas cafe Matlock Bath.
For anyone not familiar with the area here is a run from Wetton Mill tea rooms to Costas cafe Matlock Bath following the mrs on her Street Triple. That strange engine noise you can here is the sound of a proper 4 cylinder engine lol.
Thanks for the list of cafe stops Richard- hopefully you can make it over one evening, it would be good to meet up..
I would be interested depending on work commitments/when/where; weekend camp sounds good; maybe it would be simpler to piggy back onto something already organised?
Hi Pete if you have a look through the thread you'll find all the details you'll need. Just for speed the broad outline is : 1. 9th to 12 August; 2. Camping or barn bunks 3. lots are staying here: http://www.peakpub.co.uk/camping/
As my traveling companion regularly says after he's dropped me in it, "it's far easy to ask for forgiveness!"
