I was just contacted by my dealer and apparently the TFT Bluetooth module is now available. The kicker is the price. $225 for the module $20 for the mounting bracket and $90 for the install. Maybe someone can explain why it would be worth that much but it doesn't seem like it to me. Especially for something that is coming standard from the factory now.

No I didn't get a part number. All I know is my I'm not willing to spend over $300 to get turn by turn directions and phone information on my screen when I already have my Sena give them to me. I like the idea just not the price tag.

Have just re-read some of the articles about this module.

Apparently there is a companion app (called 'myTriumph') that you need to use along side the module (to enable your phone to communicate with the bike).

This app isn't listed in the UK or Singapore App Stores. Has anyone downloaded it elsewhere (such as the US site)?

Without app support I think it is unlikely that the module is widely available. Maybe dealers are just taking orders?

Agreed, the idea is good. I'm not a fan of clipping stuff to my bars unnecessarily, so the 'clean' look would be great. Granted, $300 is pretty spendy though....

I think the app will be released when the modules are actually for sale. From what I can tell it isn't available on the Google play store in the USA.

Forgive my ignorance but is this system a sat Nav as I am in the market for a new one. I stupidly left my van unlocked and someone helped themselves to my Tom Tom rider. Prices quoted above are less than a rider 500.

I believe that's one of the functions although that's not its only purpose. The post 2017 bikes come with the wiring ready within the TFT screen but not the Bluetooth module itself so the price, albeit exhorbitant, is for the module (probably around £30 to actually buy) and then fitting and software change to allow integration. Once installed and used in conjunction with the MyTriumph app (as mentioned by David_RS) allows you to receive Sat Nav instructions to your helmet comms device (not all are supported but Sena and Cardo are I believe). I think it uses Google Maps from your phone. The integration with the menu joystick on the bars also allows you to select music from your phone and control your GoPro (Hero 7 and later I believe).

I think that's about it. It is a lot but it does look quite slick.

I got the Bluetooth module on my 2020 street triple rs and to be honest the software in the phone app needs a lot of work for the module to be useful.

How well does the integration with the dash work? Like can you actually change music or navigation with the joystick?

I have the module on my Tiger 900 Gt Pro.
When it works it's a pretty decent turn by turn system.
Trouble is it seems to struggle to connect to the phone unless signal is strong and can't always find the GPS signal.

Navigation is done via the app and that's what needs the work, and yes you can listen to your music on your phone via a Bluetooth helmet headset and operate a gopro also

Cannot see any viable mention in the UK for a Bluetooth module able to be retro fitted to bikes with TFT screens though it has been promised .........?

Thanks Steve. How did you get to hear that it was finally available? Are we talking about the same thing? That is, new TFT bikes (post 2020) have the possibility of the Bluetooth module. I'm talking about the retro fit of Bluetooth module to 2018 & 2019 bikes with TFT screens.

I spoke to the dealer about this a while back and he said that "their plan is to email all customers to advise them that the module is now available".
