Well, the Prius is a favorite (favourite) of some folks. But NOT this one! Especially when there's one in front of me when I'm riding. I think those things are like biofeedback machines for their owners who seem to spend their time looking at the miles-per-gallon readout as they're driving to see if they can increase it. By going EVEN SLOWER!

If you come visit us, I'd be happy to take you for a ride. In fact, I just might be convinced (hmmm, maybe, perhaps) to let you get behind the wheel. Which, of course, is on the "wrong" side.

Haven't yet used the line-lock, DD. Nor track or drag strip mode. I'm still figuring out how to run the AC properly! VERY important in Tucson in the summer. But one of these days! I have a friend who has a Camaro ('68 or '69) that he takes to the local track. He has invited me to join him at some point so I'll be able try all my whiz-bang modes out then. Honestly, at this point I'm just thrilled to finally be able to drive it after waiting for my pelvis to heal and then being on lockdown.

I'll have to check into the information the link-lock feature here in the U.S. I'm with you. Why fit a feature if you can't use it without worrying you're voiding your warranty? Hmmm... Thanks for the heads-up.
