Hmmm, am I in the right place? Technical help....well it’s more cosmetic really but anyway here’s my problem. All the ‘running in’, ‘don’t wear your helmet backwards’ and ‘put the right fuel in’ stickers came off easy as pie but there’s always one that wants to spoil the party isn’t there, and this is it. As you’ll see from the picture, its started to peel off but what seems like the bottom layer is stuck fast to the tank. If it had been somewhere inconspicuous, I would have maybe tried some meths/paraffin or even petrol to dissolve the glue but I’m wary of doing that.
Anyone able to advise what might be best?
    Thanks in advance - String.

Warm the sticker up with a hair dryer first then peel from corner while still heating across the decal as you go, any residue can be removed with a solvent or WD40 (well that what I would do,)
    Maybe other suggestions will follow.

Try some rubbing alcohol on the glue. Has worked for me.

Shame on you that's just a waste of good alcohol :p:rolleyes: a bit petrol on a rag then re-clean the glue area.

Just to finish this thread off......
......As I’m follickly challenged, I went round to my sisters to borrow a hairdryer and it eventually peeled off - thank goodness❗️Her tip was to remove the residue with a baby wipe, which seemed to work ok.
Thanks to everyone for their previous suggestions
