They got 43.6% of the vote on a 67.3% turnout, so less than a third of the electorate actually voted for them. The First Past the Post system created the big parliamentary majority as the anti-Tory vote was divided.

Dress it as you will. It was a resounding victory unfortunately. Perhaps because there was no credible alternative. There hasn't been for years, not Corbin and not Brown. Oh and obviously not Starmer either. He's as big a wanker as Corbin going by his performance so far.
