I’ve sat on one I couldn’t believe how light it was and I was riding a cbr600 at the time which was a light bike.
I think, at around 220+ KG (Wet) you’ll find the Vincent is considerably heavier than a CBR 600. Ken.

I first became aware of the Vincent Black Shadow from the writings of Hunter S. Thompson, who I believe rode a Vincent bike when he did his research for the Hells Angels book. Not riding a Harley miffed some of the Angels, but at least Thompson didn't ride a Japanese bike.

That's all I would buy until now, including my cars. But the Hell's Angels were made in 'murica types, though now Harley makes all of their bikes in Taiwan or Thailand or some such place. Ha ha. They could tolerate a British bike, on the other hand.
