Hi Mark, that's great news about you being there. Apart from the timeslot there aren't that many details tbh but I'm working on the principal that all who are there on the 9th August will get-together for dinner in the Royal Oak (sounds like good grub and real ale), then at a time to suit us all we will spend each day riding around and scene spotting with plenty of pictures, stops for coffee etc and then back to base. On one lunchtime we'll have a BBQ - with stuff provided by members. Break-up will be on Thurs night so I'm guessing a few beers will be had and then head off our various different directions on Friday morning. If anyone has anything specific to add to the mix, please let me know?

Sounds about right Dave - meal at the pub for those of us travelling up on the Tuesday - looks quite a decent place. Like the idea of the rides out and then back to base - plenty to see around there. Not saying any of us will be road racing but be aware - most roads have a 50 mph speed limit and I've heard that the police are a bit keen on speeding bikers in the summer.

I don't know yet mate. I've not yet sold the KTM and because the pound is dropping versus the euro I'll need to get it away fairly soon . So once Kitty has gone and the house is paid for and the pension pot is cashed-in, then I'll have dosh for a replacement bike and it'll be either a Tiger 800 XRX or a new Speed Twin. Oh plus a Jaguar of course !!!
