Hello, Did this before in response to welcome Email but think it should have been here. UK based, pre-cambrian 62 year old returned to biking after triple AAA operation which has meant that I have ceased trading as a self employed sparky and am retired. Previously, a Bantam (without a seat) in private grounds (1975 ish), a Norton Dominator (with a box made from my Auntie's wardrobe - mirror removed) in Suffolk and Isle of Wight and a Honda C70 used to commute between Selsdon and South Bank Polytechnic (as it was back then) for a few years (1985 ish). As you could ride a 650cc with sidecar or 250cc solo on a provisional back then, I hadn't taken my test until January, 2020. Had a Yamaha YS125 to prepare and now have a Tiger 800 - which is about all I wish to handle given my experience level and long gap since riding previously. Live in Northants. I'll be the old duffer pootling along enjoying the countryside and freedom.
Sorry, I thought this was a thread about "Croque Monsieur" the french version of welsh rarebit. I'll get me coat..............................
Welcome to the forum Thripster, we welcome old duffers in here to be honest I think the majority on here are there or approaching duffer age.
