Received a pair of Roadskin Easyriders jeans a couple of days ago. Much better in this hot weather than my old kevlar lined riding jeans. They have a half price (£20) offer on their CE approved short summer gloves, so I ordered a pair of those as well. https://www.roadskin.co.uk/product/...ice-when-ordered-with-jeans-hoodie-or-jacket/
Remember to use sun cream with those. Been doing lots of riding this week in the sun and managed to get a half inch strip of sun burn on my wrists!
Sit up and beg riding position (Street Scrambler), so my arms are not stretched and that's not a problem. Just as well, sunshine doesn't agree with me. I just go bright red and my skin falls off.
On the strength of this thread I have just purchased a pair of the easyrider jeans. Must admit I am well happy with them lightweight and dead comfy on the bike. Hopefully I wont be testing them on my ass. I notice they have just gone up in price, i was lucky and got them for £119. https://www.roadskin.co.uk/product/roadskineasyriders/
Looking to get a pair on riding jeans so will now go back & read the thread. But the Road Skins did look very good but I wondered what the armour was like. Could see in wasn’t branded stuff like D3O or Knox
Must admit for the last couple of years I’ve just used my textile trousers. But 3 weeks ago I bought some MotoMan Kevlar leggings which are made from the same material as the MotoGirl ones my daughter uses which she loves. Basically they are like stretch jeans, very comfy to wear, full Kevlar lined. I’m a 34” waist & bought XL. They say can be used as a base layer but look just like tight jeans. Reduce to £40 + delivery at present. https://motogirl.co.uk/products/motoman-baselayer Probably not for everyone, but for my build they fit great.
