Thanks Bikerman, a fellow Lincolnshire dweller! It's been educational already. I'm glad I came.

Welcome to the family. Do let us see the steed when you decide. Just hit the upload a file button bottom right corner and hey presto. Keeps the inmates happy looking at pictures.
    Regards & Ride Safe

Well, I found one I liked and bought it. I got a lovely 2014 Speed Triple R. 4500miles, History , really well looked after. It's got loads of bits already on it. SC Project low slung exhaust, rear seat cowl, Tail Tidy, Triumph Billet brake reservoirs, Pazzo levers, Crash bobbins, tank pads, Triumph bar end mirrors and a full gold bolt kit. All for £6200. Here's some pics.

You weren't hanging around there and yes a terrific buy indeed. Now just take it tenderly till you get used to its habits. And listen to that triple purr.
    Regards
    Joe.

Lol. I don't mess about Joe. Once I get my mind set. I had 3 offers within 40 minutes of putting the KTM up for sale and it went Tuesday afternoon. I got the triple Tuesday evening. It kind of fell into my lap so to speak. A friend of a friend. Considering what else is out there I think I did quite well.
I've put 150 miles on it in the last two days and I am going steady. Obviously it's a world away from a 100kg 2 stroke Supermoto. It felt like a tank to start with but I'm getting a little more comfortable with it. They just take a touch more man handling don't they. It's lovely to ride. The seats like an armchair compared to that razor blade I've been sitting on. I'm looking forward to getting some more miles racked up.
    Thanks
    James

I would have preferred a black one or even the grey from 2016 but it was the best one I found for the money. I wasn't too bothered about the colour as long as it wasn't yellow or red to be honest.
