Yeah, I just copied and pasted the quotes and whilst still sceptical, she does raise some interesting points to consider. There is, as you say lots of varied opinions on HCQ. I don't have strong views either way, just thought her voice could be of interest on this thread.

What about the cases numbers back to up in Germany or Korea just after the unlock?
Whatever media says or internet says, a fact is a fact. The lockdown more that probably saved lots of lives.

Maybe due to being locked indoors out of the sun, people became vitamin D deficient, then they get let loose to come in contact with a virus having a weakened immune system. Had they been allowed to spend more time outside absorbing sun light and generating vitamin D, then perhaps they might have been able to fight it off :p:confused:

Who knows , only time will tell who had the right approach and who didn't, and we won't be finding out the true data for quite some time...if ever.

That's right, the headline was something like
Germany’s daily coronavirus cases nearly TRIPLE
or something, but according to this it went down again on the 12th.

"Germany’s Ro creeping above 1 for three days in a row wasn’t a catastrophe because the number of new people infected in Germany each day is quite small – about 1,000/day, compared to 20,000/day in the UK. And it returned to below 1 yesterday in any case."
    https://lockdownsceptics.org/2020/05/13/

    Also reported my the Mail on the 12th;

Germany's coronavirus infection rate 'R' drops below 1 to 0.94 after it rose on Monday as lockdown restrictions were eased
    • The country had seen its rate of infection remain about 1 for three days in a row
    • The fall in 'R' will be a welcome relief as Germany lifts some lockdown measures

My comment was meant tonge in cheek, as I'm sure you guessed :)

I hope you still have an income whilst sitting in the sun, if so result! :D I work from home anyway, so no change for me, and no sitting in the sun :( but I'm very grateful I've still got an income.

I hope you don't think I was alluding to the same thing with the graph in my previous post :scream: - I was questioning if given the lifespan being 81 in the UK and the majority of deaths linked to Corona are people either over 81 or approaching that age, then is it a given that it was the virus that actually caused their death, or natural end of their time?

Anyway it's all f#cked up, and sadly many people are using the crisis as a poltical weapon :(

yes, so having the police fine people for sunbathing may well have been killing people.

Have any of you read this blog post by Erin Bromage? It is quite compelling. Interestingly, he was interviewed on CNN yesterday afternoon. Here's a screen shot of the first part of his bio which you can read in its entirety through the link on the blog post. One of my first thoughts after reading it was, "I'm not feckin' going to a restaurant for a l-o-n-g time!" Scroll down for the link. I'd be interested to know what you all think.

Interestingly, and in spite of meeting non of the CDC guidelines other than having enough ICE beds, Arizona is lifting restrictions "supposedly" slowly but it sure doesn't seem slow to me. Restaurants, bars, gyms, stores, etc. can all open. Businesses are supposed to follow safety precautions but there is little consistency in how that's implemented. And, of course, the CDC guidelines specific to reopening were buried by the White House which said there needed to be "revision" prior to releasing. It's a clusterf*ck here.
