no u were right i do have the LC version not the older adjustment

 

i have the LC version, it isnt a thrux its a bonny but i know the LC version all have the same adjustments...i think, but yeh urs definitely is different from mine. i think you guys still answered my questions tho, thanks! ima give it another try today.

I assume 2018 Thruxton is the same basic concept (probably more sportbike like now) but google the different torque settings.

 

I use a collapsible wrench designed for car wheel nuts plus a 27 mm socket....I carry this in my Tiger 955i panniers. Don't like the idea of a puncture in a long run with no way of getting the wheel off the bike.

 

Paddock stands for the rear wheel aren't that expensive, I've never tried adjusting a chain without the rear wheel being off the deck, I realise it can be done but its a lot easier with the wheel up in the air.

 

True but don’t forget you might have adjust the measurements to compensate for the wheel being off the ground
