I can do mid week, but happy to go with with the majority. I'm sure there must be some pubs with bunk house and camping somewhere in the Peak District. I must admit I don't know that area very well(only been once in the car)but there must be someone on here who know's the area.
Weekend unless its between the start of July and middle of August, them I am easy !!! Is Dent on the first weekend in July ? Thinking I might go down for the day.

Ok I will chuck this idea into the mix. Motorcycle News is holding its last biker bash in Skegness in April starting Friday 15 for 4 days. They still have accommodation left. I had a look to see what is available and as an example we could book 2 (or more) Gold Appartments for £1,850. This is for 3 nights including food. Each appartment has 3 rooms, 1 double and 2 twin. So if we had 5 people per appartment then it would work out as £185 each for the week end. (I'm not sharing a double bed with anyone but the misses). Have a look at the link to MCN live. http://www.mcnlive.co.uk Your thoughts?
Rooster, nice input but for me I think it turns a small chatty friendly corner shop meet into a massive no time for anything supermarket chase. Although others may feel different.
I must admit that my pockets are looking at something more down to earth: https://www.google.fr/webhp?sourcei...espv=2&ie=UTF-8#q=Camping+in+the+Matlock+area
We've got to be honest, if for example twenty of us all met up, if we spend as little as only an hour chatting with each other then that would be already best part of twenty hours and that's without distractions of any kind.
The picture I have in my noggin is meeting up with a load of like-minded Triumphants, having a few beers and riding round some nice countryside. And talking bollocks of course Spread over maybe 2 or 3 days.
I'm fine with camping but some have said otherwise. Of course whatever the end choice we are not going to satisfy everyone's requirements, dates, location, accommodation, cost etc. etc.
It would be great if someone knew of a place in the area we're talking about that allows for camping and B 'n B - with a bar that has decent beer?
If I read the forum members feedback correctly, the Peak District seems to be a popular choice? If that's the case the location just needs refining then it's done. Re timing of the event I've opened up a separate poll to allow interested parties to indicate when they could be available to participate. Multiple choices would be good to ensure we can get together as many as possible.
Nor me!! As for pubs, beer, b&b, and some of the nicest roads the Peak district, High Peak is full of them. Probably better to hit the quieter villages for beer,B&B and camping as they would work out better VFM overnight and head to the scenes daytime.
Peaks good fer me too, any week/weekend days good fer me, will check mi holidays (may have to book kennels etc) peak gets busy so early bookings suggested. Put a star on map Big Fella on East Yorkshire Coast level with York and add me to lunacy list
