    Hi guys,

I have an issue in that one of the top box retaining bolts on my sliding carriage has failed. Despite my best efforts, Triumph has insisted that they will not sell the part individually and I will have to buy the ENTIRE rack! I have highlighted the part I need in red on the diagram for reference, Has anyone had this issue before, or does anyone know where I can get one from? Thanks in advance... upload_2020-4-27_17-17-4.jpeg

How much of it do you need? If it’s just the bolt I’m sure they are available anywhere, usually wot give the thread size etc but typically not with this one, I’m sure someone on here with similar can give you the dimensions,
Here’s the diagram from an earlier xcx and it shows them seperate, if course this doesn’t mean they’re the same size

Have you tried contacting Fowler’s parts?

I haven’t. On the diagram you posted, the part I need is part 10. It’s a tapered plastic part that slides into the top box runner. The bolt, washer and nut are all complete. It’s just that piece of plastic.

I was assuming you’d tried purchasing this online. It does say that that is available, although you’ll have to pay £30 it’s cheaper than the whole rack
I guess if you can get it individually off an earlier bike it might be worth taking a punt on it being the same size. The bolt size will be there so you could measure yours and see if they match then at least you’ll know the hole Will be the same size
