So dave, is it the forum or a certain triumph you actually want?

 

The way I read it is that he needs a Triumph in his life. This is a good thing!

However, it would appear that he loves us and cannot stay away! This is not such a good thing! Worrying and scary are two words that spring to mind!!

Or perhaps I am just plain old wrong .... again!

 

It's not that bad HT, I still have my Chinese shit to compare with and talk about!!

Suggested dates.
1.28th/29th May,Monday the 30th is a Bank holiday
2.4th/5th June
Personally I won't be able to go much later than that as we go away on 14th June.Though I could go earlier.

Suggested venue's
Buxton,largish town with a few pub and eating places.
Ashbourne,never been
Any other places in the Peak District?

Not sure about accommodation,is everyone OK with B&B or do some want to camp?
A bit to the left,we could do Wales,I've stayed here before and it's got B&B,bunk house and camping.

Obviously some people will have to travel further tan others and it's possibly not going to work for everybody so the more input the better.

 

There is of course Matlock. The place to go on a Sunday being Matlock Bath

though its all a long way fae ,north of Aberdeen. sounds good though dont get to hung up on geography. not every ones strong point " How about Deryshire/Leicestershire as these are pretty central." Roadrider hi.

 

As well as Matlock there is bakewell too as in tarts. To be honest the area is a real secret garden of motorcycle pleasure with lots of camping and b&b's and top bendy roads you could ever want.

 

Being a southerner Matlock area looks good and central and loads of nice riding around it!

I'm new(ish), ....to the forum that is, in body - far from.
Don't count me as a definite, but definitely a possible (...commitment or what ).
Change of circumstances (traded my Ducati MultiDisfunctional for a Speed 94R) means I and SWMBO will be doing some touring in the UK this year instead of the usual Euro tour. So could work the meet in to some sort of a plan if the date suits, SWMBO rides a Daytona675 (but can't be persuaded to take it to Europe).
4th/5th June sounds better to me, Peak district will be heaving on a bank holiday weekend! (I'm an ex-Derbyshire lad).
Anywhere is a bloody long way from me (the end of Cornwall) so place doesn't matter much to me.
