Hey Tez if you need any welding doing on your zorst system I know of a forum member who lives not that far from you and he’s a dab hand with the old MIG set and will probably do it for mates rates
PART TWO, OF CAT REMOVAL FROM 1700 THUNDERBIRD STORM OK so two elbows arrived today https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/202755388839 (22.92) It apears that these now have a raised edge each end so item can be used on silicone hoses too, this raised section needs cutting off one end the other end needs shortened by 75/80 mm. (which has changed slightly from info I used some years ago because of the pipe changes) So both painted in UHT paint and hanging in my scenic painting booth The pipes need fitting long side(with just the raised area at end removed) to the header's and 75/80mm shortened end to exhaust section, place pipe in exhaust first and offer up placing other end to headers place rear bolt in exhaust to hold in place, refit clamps, Once happy refit exhaust covers quick wipe and continue on to other side. Taken down from lift started without any throttle and left to run for 12mins plus, Sound is much much better deeper, any other ride performance differences will have to wait for now. So no platt cat removal pipe or X pipe just two elbows costing 22.90 a good cheap Geordie fix that works well. On another note I've added a Dart screen which I feel improves the look and who knows may help with some wind flow. RE-POSTED IN THUNDERBIRD SECTION ,
Twat It may well have had a part three Dilli, if it was yours it would have had a bloody 4th 5th and 6th, Where as I put more than one part on or tighten more than one bolt on each section.
Can you not just make ajustments to the actual lense itself leaving the light bowl as it is ? ps If that sounds mad then please tell me, cos it will make perfect sense
Thanks for that Duck, I can quite understand what you say after a long working day you must be well DUCKED !!! take it easy pal grab a drink and chill and let your brain work for you,
All cleaned, polished ready to go. I guess it will be like the wacky races when we do get the all clear to go out riding again for pleasure. Everyone and his dog will be going for a blast to clear the cobwebs but lets hope its soon.
