Is there something different about the new ones as my wheel is easy to get off?

I don't have the single sided bike lift or the 42/44mm socket/ spanner to undo the bolts...
Would think with the right tools it is easy.... I have R&G bobbins through the centre of the wheel so I can lift the back up...
Not sure how the earlier bikes are...

Aha... I bought one of those Abba stands that locate in the swing-arm pivot holes when I bought my Z1000. I think it cost me something like £14 to get the new adapters for the SIII. Makes life easier...

I was looking at those abba stands but didn't want to 'take a chance' on one as they are quite expensive, I suppose its all 'money money money' at the end of the day.

    Sorry couldn't resist

Sorry PIG I could not accept your offer of your current workshop manual at this stage as I am still 30 years off likely needing your bike.... Cheers for the thought though :upyeah:
