When I got my Daytona 955i, the Scorpion can on it was very, very loud, so I stuck the original back on to get it through MOT and to not annoy the neighbours.

Digging through some bits that came with the bike, I found the baffle, so this morning have put the Scorpion can back on with baffle in it this time.

Still loud, but within acceptable I reckon!

Damn sight prettier and lighter than the original :)

Swapped my new valve shims on the Daytona 1200 which arrived in the post today, had 6 of 16 to do. Very satisfying to know they are done and that they will give me another 12,000 miles before they need looking at again. This is my 2nd bike so that will be a good few years now.

Fitted my LSL Superbike Bar conversion too, although not an everyday bike it does test my decrepit bodies flexibility when out on it. I find myself trying to relocate my hip socket at traffic lights on the odd occasion, I'd say it's not a good look from behind! Just sitting on it I know they are going to be brilliant. Although the seat to footpeg ergos are unchanged just by sitting back some takes a lot of strain off the wrists and more importantly the hips. End result is 6" back and 3.5" up from the very low stock position.

You don't have to. I was just asking that's all. I'v just bought all the gear myself so I'm just trying to find out if it's worth getting any.
It's supposed to get rid of any grease etc and just give it that final razzle dazzle.
I suppose it gets rid of any final traces of wax that you get from applying different compounds to your mops.

Purely for metal polishing Ducky. I bought all my stuff from here:-
    https://www.metalpolishingsupplies.co.uk/metal-polishing-machines/
I bought one of the kits where you get the bench grinder, mops, compounds, mandrels, flexi-drive etc. You take all the guards and grinding wheels off and set it up as a bench polisher with the option to put it back to a grinder so you can sharpen all your battleaxes and swords next time you need to sacrifice a goat or summat. Or maybe a chicken round your way.

Finally got finished with the bloody frame infills.....
What an absolute total nightmare to get them out and carbon ones in.
If you are thinking of it, be prepared for total frustration and head scratchers. Battery off, air box off isn’t a problem.
    That’s where the fun begins....
Steel brake lines on the lhs and difficult to access the rhs.
It took me 3 hrs all in but at least it’s over with!

And, to calm me down a bit....
I fitted some bar risers. I know they aren’t a great fit (looks wise) but I got them for £20 off of fleabay as a punt.
Definitely help with the broken scaphoid I had in the right wrist though.
If you decide to do it too, please take off the bracket that takes the cables on the headstock as it frees up some cable so there’s a bit of slack for max movement is ok. As soon as rs ones are available, I’ll probably get some so it matches better.
These were for a ‘15 speedie and it’s ok for fitting on the rs. TAKE OFF THE BRACKET THOUGH!

Amount of time energy and money you’ve put into this
It’s a bugger mate and I admire people who have a go but perhaps it’s time to farm this out and get it done properly
